I let my cats sniff everything I eat. My favorite thing is when I offer them something they don’t like the smell of and their face gets all scrunchy and they watch in horror as I put it in my mouth.

ok so as someone still relatively new to TWST (and someone just taking the events as they come to EN instead of keeping up with the JP side) and as a Jack Howl simp

I am of the (CORRECT) opinion that he should absolutely get an Applepom look because... fwuffy. and hat with ear holes. and he'd be SO insistent that he's used to the cold and doesn't need it but he will take it once it's insisted on because he's polite and won't refuse Gramma Felmier

Also I think a fun twist on the "someone's sled breaks and their plushie tears so they have to come up with another idea" bit from the other event is that Jack goes wolf mode to pull the sled (because as said in his starsending wish he pulls sleds back at home on breaks to try and get faster as a wolf!)

I'm biased though because I need more Jacc in my life

thank you anon for bringing the mental image of harveston Jack into my life. he would be SO fluffy...so warm...he would haul so many apples...

also while I love the imagery of him pulling the sled, I feel like that would probably get them insta-disqualified. :( unless they can somehow 1) convince the judges that this enormous talking wolf is actually a very well-made plush, and 2) get Jack to go along with it (I do think Jack would instantly respect Marja as being more alpha or whatever and would have to, like, choose between his sense of JUSTICE, or going along with cheating at this sporting event so an authority figure doesn't get mad at him) (...wait this is just the plot of episode 2 again) (DANGIT)

I made too many pages towards my Chai-joins-Vandelay-for-half-a-day AU: the headcanon heavy edition. It's also mostly the ending bit of it (there's still a little more I want to draw but they're mostly full of tricky dialogue so I hope I can find time later for them). I underestimated how many pages I wanted to make and it took twice the time I was hoping it would but I was able to get almost all of the fun and funny images I had stuck in my head out.

I feel like ganz/webkinz were really going somewhere with the designs of the peppermint puppy and pumpkin puppy. They still feel like they fit with the love, peace, and clover puppies, but are their own unique thing at the same time. I wish they'd continued along that route instead of choosing to make patterned puppies with busy designs and printed fabric (such as the spooky puppy, texting puppy, cupcake puppy, etc.) But that's probably a hot take lol

#I say this as I stare at and compare my clover pumpkin peace and spooky puppies #I really really want to love the spooky puppy but I couldn't place my finger on why Im not making a connection #and it has to do with the busy design I think. that and the dact that her pattern is printed on #vs the love peace and clover puppies who's patterns were made as part of the fabric #their fabric is softer and more organic looking as a result if that makes sense #also hot take but the peppermint puppy is peak webkinz puppy design #yes I am biased #but its the only puppy that has patches on it and no glitter #its unique #Pumpkin puppy is also unique with its bicoloration and simplicity #I wish there was more variety like that with the puppies #like we do have the green earth puppy and cherry soday puppy but they're a completely different plush design pattern so they don't count #They're not the “classic” webkinz puppy yknow? although I do like what ganz did with them its nice but they're not part of this discussion #but for the og pupy design they should have gone more unique. idl how but they were obviously capable of it #I feel like the newer puppies were more gimmicky with their patterns (more gimmicky than the puppies were to begin with at least)#and too specific at times #like ballet puppy? chocolate candy puppy? texting puppy? cmon now #viti shoosh #kinzblr #webkinz

#peanuts #snoopy #art #linus van pelt #the great pumpkin #30 #since it is halloween i have decided to confront two of my greatest fears: not using my usual fluffy pixel brush and drawing linus #specifically drawing his weird transparent hair that i have struggled to draw my entire life #his hair being fully lineart without the brown colouring in it just looked wayyyy too weird so i filled it in a bit #i think i accidentally gave him the most terrifying face as possible as well #but that is also just on theme for halloween if you really think about it #i was trying to preserve the little curves around his eyes that you see in the original character design #but i fear here he just looks like he's wearing some sort of horrible flesh goggles #one thing i do really like about this piece is the colour layering on the pumpkin patch for depth #like damn these two really are in a pumpkin patch in the middle of nowhere with nothing else for miles around #i wanna start drawing more of the other characters in these as well so i'm currently trying out different ways to draw them all #while still maintaining a resemblance to the original #so far i love drawing lucy and peppermint patty the most. the lines just jump out of my pen for those two <3

wow I didn’t think reblogging that tea post and then seeing people’s tags would deal me such strong psychic damage. come over I can fix you I can find a tea you will like. “I don’t like tea” how can you say that as a blanket statement when there are so many vastly different kinds of tea. head in hands

#‘it’s like coffee but not good’#while a cup of black tea does have a great deal less caffeine in it than coffee #it also has a stimulant called l-theanine which is NOT found in coffee #and the more complex combination of the two stimulants hit your system much more slowly #which is why tea doesn’t give you jitters like coffee does #anyone who’s like wow I need my coffee to survive but I hate that it makes me nauseous and gives me heart palpitations and bad breath #to you I say. wean yourself off coffee and onto tea!!!!!!!#but WAIT I can keep going. nauseous? ginger tea. sore throat? peppermint contains menthol which works as a numbing agent #green and black teas are both very high in antioxidants #chamomile and lavender do both have a calming affect #BUT WHAT ABOUT THE TASTE I hear you say #IT TASTES LIKE GRASS. try a floral tea or a black tea or chai or Thai tea #ITS SO BITTER you’re either steeping it for too long or the water you’re using is too hot #not to sound like I’m fucking uncle iroh or something I just apparnerlt have strong thoughts and feelings about tea #I can’t handle ppl going ugh I hate tea and it’s like. overbrewed lipton in microwaved tap water.#anyway MY favorites are jasmine and lavender earl grey #and currently I’m really into this corn silk tea my brother bought me at h mart #it’s like gen mai cha but even more #congrats for making it this far into my tea rant tags. if you comment your tastes I can give you a personalized tea recommendation
